"What in the word is a blog and why in the world do you have one Pastor Trevor?"
As you may have noticed, in the last year or three, even e-mail has become something mundane and "not very high-tech." Enter the blog.
This is where you as a parent or FirstKid will be able to get the very latest in what's going on in my life, the world of "FirstKids," and the life of Salem Naz as seen through the bird's eye view of your favorite Children's Pastor... No, not him... no, not her either... No, me! Yeah, there you go! The tall skinny guy.
Now that we have all that taken care of let me give you some updates. We have all of the dates for our major Summer Events up on the church calendar. Everything from VBS in June to Camp Canyonview in August. So mark that calendar on your fridge and get ready for one wild and crazy summer!

SUNDAYS
We started a new series 3 weeks ago called "Everyday Survival" where we are taking a look at how kids who follow Jesus should handle some of life's more difficult issues like GOSSIP, BULLIES, OBEYING AUTHORITY and other daily issues in life. Make sure you come prepared for training with your Bible, Brain, and... well I can't think of anything else that starts with "B" so those two will do.
WEDNESDAYS
Last week we started a new Wednesday Night series called Boot Camp. Just like in the Marines, we are going to be going through basics that every follower of Jesus should know well. We are covering things like "Who is God" "What is Baptism" What is Sin" and lots of other important stuff. Wednesday Nights tend to get a little crazier than Sunday Mornings so be ready to play some off the hook games!
