Note to you as a parent:

As we find ourselves in the midst of another week of chaos where work, family, and events all scream for our energy, it’s time to choose what we truly want to accomplish with the little time we are given here on this planet Earth. If you decided to make time last week with your children to talk about salvation then you know how these seemingly small conversations can impact your day. What you may not realize is the five or ten minuets you took in the car, at the table, or at the bedside WILL change the course of your child’s life. This week we are going over the importance of Baptism. Ask your child what it means to be baptized. Tell them about when you were baptized. It has been almost 2,000 years sense Jesus waded into the River Jordan with his cousin John. So much has changed, and yet at the same time… it’s all the same. Again, please take your responsibility as your child’s spiritual mentor seriously. You are their most important spiritual role model and mirror of Christ’s love.
