We Conquered Triangle Lake!

We came... saw the lake... conquered the lake... it will never be the same!

On Monday, July 19th, forty-seven HS students, leaders and boat drivers set out for three days of fun at Triangle Lake. We camped in tents, ate smores around the fire, wake-boarded, knee-boarded, tubed, rafted, played volleyball, competed in team competitions, and generally had a great time.  It was an awesome trip!

Next Wednesday night (the 28th) we are back at the church for a week. We'll start around 7:00pm.

Hope everyone's summer is going well...

I would either call Moore's Lodge (800)-378-4199or Crow Wing Crest Lodge (218)-652-3111, and ask them, Whats going on? .If you REALLY want the itarsght dope call Mark Christianson (218)-766-6909. He is a guide in the area and could/might give you some valuable info. You could also leave a question on the MN fishing board . Generally, for Wallys, find some submerged rock Islands with drops to 10-20 Ft. Fish a 1/4 OZ jig and a Minnow or Leech, (or a curly-tailed Grub). For Musky, comb the flats and grass with king-size in-line spinners Super Rapala's. Huge Jigs in Lime green/Red Head or White/Red Head works well. You probably know all this stuff already! Anyway, Hope you get your info!!!Good luck Catch some fish!
